It’s always a pleasure to welcome our neighbours from Cyclic Beer Farm down to Garage HQ. Their take on elegant, tart, mixed fermentation ales is a thing of beauty so we wanted to use some of that elegance in creating a kettle sour beer that steals from that playbook. Careful use of hibiscus, orange blossom water, vanilla and cinnamon result in a beer with a beautiful red hue that brings memories of Mexican agua de Jamaica and cranberry sauce that is paired with Christmas dinner. A dry finish with a slight rounding sweetness from the vanilla make for a very drinkable sour ale.
