Craft Cider is made from freshly pressed apples, unlike commercial cider, which is made from highly concentrated apple juice. This means that craft cider is the real deal, 100% natural and made using traditional methods. We choose to work with cider makers who live and work locally, sourcing their apples from the finest orchards in the area. Many of our producers have years of expertise in creating the very best blends and the quality of the craft ciders they produce is something special.

Traditional Craft Cider will usually contain suspended apple solids and sediment, which is just a side effect of the natural processes of production. Highbank Organic Farm, in County Kilkenny, was a 17th century farmyard that is now a family business, producing cider from the apple orchards planted in 1969. At Highbank Organic Farm, several varieties of apples are grown, especially selected for their rich flavours and juicing properties. There are no chemicals used in the growing of these apples, and the strictest organic standards are adhered to, so we know we are bringing you the very best of traditional craft cider online with no compromises.

Stonewell Craft Cider reflects the complexity of the Irish climate, using apples from the counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Tipperary and Cork to create a range of Irish ciders you’ll love. These excellent ciders are made without additives or colourings, in the traditional way, and the ciders include fruity flavours and drier options so that you can choose your favourites.

Even closer to home, we love Longueville House Cider, which is produced here in Cork. It is made from Dabinett and Michelin apples, harvested in late October and pressed in the Cider Mill on the Longueville House estate. The apple juice is then left to ferment for several months to create a rich, amber cider with a unique and delicious taste. It has no added sugars or sweeteners and the Longueville House range has fast become a popular choice throughout restaurants and pubs in Ireland, Europe, the UK and the USA.
