Description
The Mac Carthy name derives from Denis MacCarthy of Castle Cloghan, near Skibbereen who fought with the Jacobite armies and fled to France after the battle of the Boyne. This is a Grand Cru Bourgeouis with lovely fruit on the palate – blackcurrants, spice and a long length.
