This is the 37th installment of Midleton Very Rare which was started by Midleton legend Barry Crockett. Brian Nation was only the second distiller to continue the legacy this bottling being his last. From 2021, the responsibility of this premium Irish Whiskey series will sit with recently appointed Kevin O’Gorman – having worked at Midleton since 1998 and acting as Master of Maturation since 2007. Midleton Very Rare 2020 is bottled at 40% ABV.
