Killowen Irish Poitin

Description

Created using a carefully guarded secret recipe from a local Mourne family. This has been distilled in hand beaten copper pot stills using a base mix of wheat, barley and oats. The malted grains amongst the mix are hand kilned at the distillery over a peat fire. Just about as authentic and traditional as you can get with a modern interpretation of Poitín.
