Description
This Saint-Véran (Chardonnay) is a beautifully pure looking wine in the glass, with delicate floral aromas, a hint of peach, pear and honeysuckle. For this wine, oak barrels have been put to one side, instead the use of stainless steel has been favoured to preserve the delicate fruit character. Yet despite this there’s a welcome texture on the palate, this is as a result of extended aging on the lees giving a slightly softer, more rounded mouth feel.
