Released to celebrate the commencement of work on a new whisky distillery for Blackwater Distillery in Ballyduff, Co. Waterford.

Goes without saying then that this whisky was not distilled by Blackwater Distillery. Instead, having searched & tasted many Irish Whiskys, Peter Mulryan of Blackwater Distillery hit on a few outstanding examples that really excited him and this is the first of these independent bottlings.

Single Malt aged 17 years, matured exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks.
